Objective:
· Define the features of the
Microsoft Windows XP
· Demonstrate an understanding of how to install Microsoft
Windows XP from a CD-ROM and over the network
· Understand the TCP/IP communication process
· Microsoft Windows XP administration tools and configuration
options
· Configure hardware settings
· Configure operating system settings
· Install plug-and-play and non-plug-and-play hardware
Prerequisite:
An MCPcandidate should have six to twelve months of experience
implementing and administering a desktop operating system, implementing
and administering a network operating system, and managing an
existing network infrastructure.
If the previous prerequisite
is not met, Network+ certification is highly recommended
Contents:
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) candidates are required
to pass one current Microsoft certification exam that provides
a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise.
MCPexams are developed with the

products are used in organizations throughout the world. The exams
are administered by Pearson VUE and Prometric, independent testing
organizations with locations worldwide.
