Computer
College Library mission is to support and enhance the educational
mission of the College. The College Library provides essential
educational support to local campus community, through its
special collection of books & multimedia and also the
internet availability.
The
librarians strive to
Affirm
the vision and mission of Computer College:
Encourage
and facilitate information competency, critical thinking,
intellectual independence, and lifelong learning skills
in all students, regardless of their educational goals.
Provide assistance in locating, evaluating, and effectively
using library resources and instructional programs to teach
library users to think critically about information. Incorporate
new technologies and services to help students, faculty
and staff discover, create and disseminate knowledge..
Collections
At
present the Library's holdings consist of approximately
10,000 items, composed of Books, Magazines, Student Projects,
Floppies, CDs, Video & Cassettes Tapes. The library
also having 36 PCs for the students using "Internet
researches & making their projects & assignments
... Etc". The collection supports the programs situated
at Computer College: Computer Science, Computer hardware,
Computer software (office, Windows, word, Excel, Access,
Visual Basic, Power Point ..), Internet, Networking, Accounting,
Business, Management, Finance & Secretarial, ORACLE,
MCSE, CIW, A+ &
English
(Reasoning, Grammar, Dictionaries, Business, Writing, Spoken
& Communications).

Computer
College Library uses a special electronic system designed
by our college staff. The library also runs very well-organized
books classification system based on our collection.
